Adam Sandler’s September 11th movie (yes, I just wrote the phrase “Adam Sandler’s September 11th movie”), alternately referred to as Empty City or Reign O’er Me, will be filming in my neighborhood tomorrow. When I took Olive down to the park, I found signs and traffic cones preventing parking along several blocks, covering acres. It’s a strange time of year to be filming in the park, which is pretty much leafless trees and mud just now. Perhaps they’ll tape leaves on the trees, the way they did when filming You’ve Got Mail.
